How To Disable Xbox Game Monitoring
Xbox game monitoring is a tough program to disable as compared to rest two features. The feature naturally, monitors which game you are presently playing. The reason to disable it is because many people report that it clashes with other amenities and causes performance drops.
Disabling this feature needs a little bit more of your attention as compared to the others because the changes that are required to disable the feature are present in Registry.
Before making any change to your Registry, do not forget to take back up your registry files in case something wrong happens. - Open the run box (win+r), write regedit in it and then press Enter.
- Double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
- Double click SYSTEM.
- Double click CurrentControlSet.
- Double click Services.
- Click xbgm. You may have to scroll down ways.
- Right click on the Start REG_DWORD.
- Hit Modify.
- Change the default value of 3 to 4.
- Hit OK.
After finishing all these steps Xbox Game Monitoring feature is now disabled from your Windows. Later if you think to enable it just you just have to change the value from 4 to 3 again.
